Abstract

The present study aims to investigate the role of sports in enhancing the effective attitudes of student-teachers at Farhangian University in the context of building a "Strong Iran." Using a qualitative methodology and grounded theory, the research analyzes the social and economic impacts of sports on athletic success and examines their correlation with strengthening scientific authority and addressing national issues. The study population consists of experts in the fields of sports, education, social sciences, and economics. Participants were selected through purposive and snowball sampling. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and analyzed through open, axial, and selective coding. The findings indicate that factors such as sports skill training, organizational support, continuous evaluation of athletic performance, motivation and sports culture development, and the improvement of sports infrastructure play significant roles in enhancing attitudes and achieving athletic success. Additionally, supportive legislation, media, and the provision of appropriate sports facilities are critical to the growth of this field. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic has repeatedly emphasized the importance of nurturing efficient and motivated generations for building a strong Iran. Inspired by this guidance, the study highlights the necessity of a comprehensive and coordinated approach to strengthening sports activities in schools and universities to pave the way for national success in various athletic and social domains. These findings can contribute to the development of physical education programs, the enhancement of sports infrastructure, and the promotion of vitality and progress among the younger generation.
