The culture of sacrifice and martyrdom as one of the elements of Shiite political culture originates from the epic of Ashura of Hosseini. This culture, along with other religious teachings, plays an important role in the growth and strengthening of social assets in our society. This paper aims to identify the collective components of the culture of self-sacrifice and martyrdom based on prisoners memories as assets based on the methodology of documentary qualitative analysis. It has been attempted to collect the data and examples related to the use of the scanning tool from the sources related to prisoners memories. This article attempts to answer these questions. What are the components of the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom in dealing with friends in the memoirs of prisoners of the Sacred Defense and how were these behavioral elements of them affected in the production and strengthening of social assets? The findings show that the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom as a rich culture based on Shi'i teachings as a social assets consists of elements of positive collective behavior that promotes coherence, reinforcement of the spirit of participation and cooperation and the creation and growth of human networks with many examples and evidences that can be mentioned about the prisoners who were in the most difficult conditions in the camps of enemy. Among these components, which are the cause of social assets, are: Guidance, Good Behavior and Brotherhood in Belief through the growth of social capital indicators.
