The aim of the present study is to systematically analyze the cultural, religious, and educational themes present in the wills of student martyrs from South Khorasan Province and to explain the potential of these texts in transmitting the values of the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom to future generations. The main research question is what core themes the wills of adolescent martyrs represent and how these themes can be interpreted in shaping religious and social identity. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and the thematic analysis method, with data comprising 30 wills of student martyrs that were purposefully selected. In the analysis process, themes were identified and organized into three main axes: the divine foundations of jihad and martyrdom, the reproduction of the Ashura epic in the context of the Islamic Revolution, and the role of family and society in the continuity of the culture of martyrdom. The findings showed that the wills emphasize concepts such as martyrdom as a mystical path, obedience to the Supreme Leader, inspiration from Ashura, struggle against arrogance, and the responsibility of families in educating the next generation. The conclusion of the study indicates that, in addition to their historical value, the wills of student martyrs, as cultural-educational documents, have a high capacity to illustrate a model of religious lifestyle and strengthen the value-based identity of today’s generation, and they can be utilized in educational and cultural programs.
