In every society, there are values that form the main foundation of the culture of that society. The importance and position of these values are such that every nation considers its cultural, educational life and identity development to be in adherence to and respect for them and their complete transmission to future generations. This research aimed to identify themes and concepts related to the role of role models from martyrs in preventing division, identity development, selflessness and happiness of students of Farhangian University of Lorestan. The research method was qualitative and interpretive phenomenological. The statistical population of the research included the students of Farhangian University of Lorestan, 20 of whom were selected as the research sample using the purposeful sampling method as well as theoretical saturation. The data extracted from the semi-structured interviews were analyzed using the method of coding and extraction of main and secondary themes. The results indicate the identification of 187 open codes identified in 8 sub-themes of the 4 main themes, which include, the development of Iranian and Islamic identity, preventing division and creating unity, vitality, happiness and sense of honor, fostering the spirit of self-sacrifice, self-sacrifice and right-seeking. be The findings of the research can be part of the reform programs of Farhangian University to familiarize students with the role of martyrs in the cultural and educational environment
