Blockchain technology is very important in regulating professional football contracts. This technology can simplify operations; increase efficiency; Strengthen trust and promote partnership. The purpose of the current research is to identify the cultural and social effects of using blockchain technology in the regulation of professional football contracts. The research method is qualitative and based on data-based theorizing. In the qualitative approach of this research, hidden content analysis tactic was used. The research community were experts related to the subject. The sampling method was non-random and purposeful. The interviews were semi-structured and continued until saturation. Validity, transfer ability, trustworthiness and verifiability criteria were used to determine validity and reliability. After analyzing the information obtained from interviews with research experts; The cultural and social categories resulting from the application of blockchain technology in the regulation of contracts in professional football were identified with 8 main themes. And finally, 11 cultural and social effects that are effective in drawing up blockchain-based contracts were identified, and accordingly, in drawing up professional contracts, cultural and social factors that have important effects on concluding smart contracts should be given special importance.
