Regarding the relationship between economy and development, there are various and numerous texts in Persian language, in many of which the authors try to promote economic development with its western definition in Iran, regardless of its essential difference from western societies. In the meantime, few people look at these issues with a critical eye. One of these people is Seyed Morteza Avini. His series of notes in this regard have been published under the publication of Jihad Soorah and Surah, during the years 1986 to 1991. In this qualitative research, in order to understand Morteza's opinions about the economy and development of Western civilization, I am trying to extract the themes in them by examining these texts using MAXQDA2020 software. The results of this research show that according to Avini, economic development with its current conventional meaning is the product of imperialist thinking as a result of the all-round dictatorship of the economy, and the only way to save it is revolutionary resistance in the field of economics.
