The purpose of this research was to design and validate the model of professional growth of elementary school principals in Shahrekord city. This research has been done in terms of practical purpose and in a mixed (qualitative-quantitative) or mixed exploratory method. The statistical population of the research was scientific and executive elites (education and faculty members of Farhangian University of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province) and principals, assistants and teachers of elementary schools in the 1st and 2nd districts of Shahrekord. The samples from the first group were selected using the principle of theoretical data saturation and from the second group through the Cochran sample size formula. The required data were collected through a semi-structured survey and a researcher-made questionnaire. Then they were categorized and analyzed based on Strauss and Corbin's paradigm model in three steps of open, central and selective coding. In this process, 130 open codes were identified in 5 categories of causal dimensions (position of managers, environmental changes, etc.); contextual dimensions (managers' belief in collaborative culture, managers' competencies, management skills, etc.); intervention dimensions (upstream decisions, facilitating laws and regulations, etc.); Strategies (self-management, educational diversity methods, decentralization, etc.) and outcomes (personal growth, improving teachers' performance, students' academic success, etc.) were categorized.
