TV documentaries on Jihad and Martyrdom are one type of the messageses that are broadcasted by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization in order to inform the audience about the holy defense and the axis of resistance. Seyed Morteza Avini is one of the first producers in this field. During his lifetime, the TV documentary series named Rewayat of Fat’h aired in more than seventy episodes without the audience kenning about him and his colleagues. In these movies, narration was used to convey the message to the audience. This research is carried out with the aim of researching some selection of these films and extracting the persuasive methods used in their narration with a qualitative method and a theme analysis approach. On this purpose, through a survey of media experts who are familiar with Avini and his works, five episodes named Shab Ashurai, Pathek Rooz Chahar, Reza, the fifth episode of Shahri Dar Asman, and the second episode of Talk to Me Dokuhe, were selected as the most effective works for study. Then, by reading the narration line by line, the basic themes related to the subject of persuasion were identified by using MAXQDA 2020 software, and then by analyzing them, the organizing and inclusive themes were obtained. According to the findings of the research, Avini tries to convince the audience through continuous communication with the audience in the form of narration, using symbols and dynamizing the space of the narration within writing techniques.
