The main question of this research workis:“Which methods did Imam Khomeini (rah.) utilizeto achieve cultural security?” The findings of this study suggest that, firstly, Imam Khomeini (rah.) paid special attention to security and its various dimensions and since he found culture highly important, he always sought to reinforce culture, make it free frominsecurities and make people aware of cultural threats by his warnings and messages. Secondly, Imam Khomeini’s (rah.)way of managing cultural conflicts and protecting the domain of culture was gradual and time-honored, which was fulfilled throughpublic participation and awareness and constant involvement of the authorities in the face of the invading cultures. Thirdly, the cultural securitizationmethod in Imam Khomeini’s practical life and thought systemconsists of five stages. In other words, to fulfill cultural security, Imam Khomeini (rah.) considered the five stages of knowing the native culture and being aware of it, knowing the deviantimported culture,giving cultural warnings and making people aware ofcultural threats, understanding cultural threats and offering strategies for cultural resistance and implemented them sequentially.
