The main objective of this research is to investigate the relationship between the use of satellite media on the cultural identity of young people in the city of Shush. Theoretically, in order to examine this relationship, the views of globalization in the field of communication, the views of cultural-affiliated theorists and the theory of society information about the outcomes of these media have been used. The research method is survey and Pearson correlation test has been used to investigate the hypotheses. A questionnaire has been used to collect data. The statistical population of the study consisted of all youths aged 16 to 35 in Shush city which 384 persons were selected according to Cochran formula. Data analysis has been done using spss software. The results showed a significant and positive correlation between use of satellite programs and how to spend leisure time, lack of adherence to native language and non-traditional marriage style. Also, the results of the regression model indicate that there is a significant relationship between the use of satellites with the native cultural identity that in turn, indicates a change in the behavior of young people towards the new patterns.
