The family, as the most important social institution, has an important role in creating the identity of individuals and has important functions such as education, meeting the natural needs of human beings and creating peace in individuals. Nowadays, a new force of identity and identity finder has emerged alongside the family and acts as a complementary force or, in most cases, an anti-identity force against the family. These new identity-building forces are the mass media. The purpose of this study is to explain the relationship between media consumption and the observance of desirable indicators in the consumption of virtual social networks of Bushehr families. In this regard, with a combination of qualitative and quantitative approach in methodology to extract the desired characteristics and design a questionnaire tool; We tested a significant relationship between the independent variable (amount, type, attractiveness and motivation of using virtual social networks) and the dependent variable (desirable indicators of using virtual social networks of Bushehr families). The results of the tests in the hypothesis test indicate that out of 4 independent variables in the test with respect to the desired media consumption indicators; The variable of the type of virtual social networks used showed a significant relationship and the three variables of the amount, attractiveness and motivation of using virtual social networks did not show a significant relationship in terms of consumption indicators of virtual social networks.
