The aim of this study was to investigate the social factors affecting the occurrence of vandalism among high school students (case study, Shush county). Theoretically, Sutherland's relative relationship theory, Howard-Weehlin's theory, Durkim's anomie theory, Merton's structural pressure and Hirashi's social bond and The Good Family structure have been used to investigate the hypotheses. The research method of this paper is quantitative and survey. The sample size was 400. According to Morgan table for the statistical population of 2400 people, the sample size should be considered 331 people, but in order to be more accurate, the sample size in this study is 400 people. SPSS software version 22 was used to analyze the data. To analyze the data, central tendency, dispersion and regression indices were used at the descriptive level and correlation and regression methods were used at the inferential level. The results of this study showed that variables such as self-esteem, financial pressure, labeling, family control and supervision, adherence to religious values and social norms and laws, emotional poverty, the use of mass media and the type of content transmitted from the media have a significant relationship with vandalism. The results of regression analysis also showed that among these seven independent variables, variables of labeling, family control and supervision, adherence to religious and legal values and norms, media use and emotional poverty had a significant effect on the vandalism behaviors of male adolescents and were able to explain 54% of the variance of vendalistic behaviors. Also, among these variables, emotional poverty variable had the greatest effect on adolescents' social behaviors.
